First off thanks in advance for any and all replies! I purchased a foreclosed home that is approx 8 years old and have been trying to get everything in order to move in. I have a Trane ex1000 heat pump. When I first tested the unit I found the time delay fan relay was hanging up and was going out and the fan motor had a slight hum when starting. I found the delay timer blower relay was bad and the fan motor was almost shot. So I have replaced the motor and time delayed fan relay. However now the unit will cut on and the fan runs properly and it heats correctly, but when the unit heats the house to the temp set on the thermostat the blower still runs. But now I can cut the thermostat to the off position and the unit stops blowing as to where before I replaced the relay and motor it would not stop until power was cut off to unit. please help thanks!
