  • Sink and disposal

Our sink is draining very slowly and when we turn on the garbage disposal the water goes down however when turning it off the water spills back into the sink then continues to drain slowly. We have tried unclogging liquids and tried snaking the pipes 25 feet and found nothing. Is this a garbage disposal problem or are our pipes clogged somewhere deeper then 25 feet? Please help!

    Thanks!

It sounds to me like you have a clog in your piping and may need to have a drain cleaning company such as Roter Rooter come out and use an electric powered snake to clean it. They are cheaper than a plumber. Please let them know that you have also used a chemical drain cleaner in the pipes so they don't open the pipes and get burned from the cleaner.
