    Yeah there really isn't enough room for something that big. I mean the meter shut off is just in the front yard.. Do I really need this one lol

      it's your house. do with it what you want.
      it's a shutoff for isolating some part of your house.
      if you fixed the dripping - what I always say - " if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

          I'd take that packing nut off and use a deep throat six point socket on the larger hex. Don't want to slip and break the corners. Then you can replace the seat washer.

            I actually bought a set of stem pullers but oddly enough none fit
