    Gas line installation

I had a 15 foot flexible gas line (csst) and valve under my above ground deck, for a natural gas BBQ. Took the plumber about 1.5 hours. They do not break their bills out to materials and parts and charged $534.00 to for the flexible pipe and installation and another $358.00 For the valve and installation.

This seems a bit high for 1.5 hours work and 15 foot of flex line.

Wondering if anyone else has had this done and wht did you pay. I am located north of Seattle.

That is pretty steep!, did my own natural gas line to the grill, under a deck, 12 feet in 308 Stainless steel SCH 40, 1/2 inch IP, all stainless valves and hardware, for less than $200, but that's in low rent upstate NY, left coast prices may vary, maybe I should relocate to Seattle, GasTite piping and hardware is not that expensive, I would check the local prices and labor, did they have to re jet the grill too? that might add cost but not that much
