I had my bathtub resurfaced a number of years ago. it is starting to peel badly. What are my options on repair without tearing out my present tub and replacing it?

There was a thing on the DIY channel a few weeks ago about resurfacing a cast iron tub. They showed it as a four step process using chemical washes and chemical bonding agents under the finish two part epoxy which is sprayed on.
I've also seen an acryllic preformed skin that fits into the existing tub - the drain is installed after this injection molded product is in place.
