  • Kitchen faucet low pressure

Folks, I need help with low water pressure in the kitchen sink.
I have a Kohler faucet which worked just fine before. After remodeling
of the kitchen, the water lines of te faucet are not long anough to
reach to the under sink valves. I purchased 16" extension tubes and installed them, but the water pressure is too low.
I removed the extensions and checked them out, they seemed OK.
    Any help is greately appreciated

A moderate increase in the extension tube length would not dramitally alter the discharge pressure at the faucett.

The only way that changing the supply tubes could alter pressure is if you were to replace 3/8" supply tubes with 1/4" supply tubes which would cause a significant reduction in pressure; but that would also require changing the angle stop valves so it is unlikely that you have that problem.

It is more likely that some scale or sediments in the lines was dislodged during the rehab and has now caught in the aereator screens on the faucett outlet.

Unscres the tip of the faucett and check the water pressure with the tip removed. If you have full pressure without the tip dissassemble the screens in the tip and rinse the sediments out and you should have the pressure restored.
