doing a reno on bathroom, question 1
can you put a compression shut valve on a hot water baseboard heater to temporary remove the heater
question 2
how do I temporary remove baseboard heater, should a plumber be called or can I do it myself, am pretty handy and not worried about trying

The heater is part of a closed system loop. You'll need to drain the system just to "cut out" a heater. Normally once installed a convection baseboard unit never needs to be maintained cept for vacuuming the fins. A temporary section of pipe could be soldered in place, but must be removed when the new convector is installed. In any case the system mustbe drained.

Once cut off can I put a temporary shut off compression valve or is it a continues run system were I have to shut down the system and do all the work at once. All I have to do is remove the baseboard heater to replace a wall. Suggestions are great, or should I just call a plumber?

It's a continuous run system. You'll need some type of bypass. A valve anywhere in there won't let the water do it's full circle....
