Low Water Pressure

I Just Installed A New Faucet In My Kitchen. I Installed A Compression Value With It Because That Was On The Old Supply Line. Now I Have Low Water Pressure Throughout The House, Not Just In The Kitchen. In The Kitchen, The Cold Water Is Low And In The Upstairs Bathrooms The Hot Water Is Low. What Did I Do Wrong? Please Help!!!!!!

check you main shutoff. you may not have opened all the way. the main cutoff may be a gate valve and the gate came off its stem. in that case you'll have to get the town to shut off your supply and you'll need to replace the main valve.
