Water Filter Causing Low Pressure In Lines

I had increasingly lowering water pressure in the house recently. I installed a new house filtering system also. It worked at first and then the pressure started to go down after several months. Someone suggested I bypass the filter and see what happens, so I did. The shower will just about knock you over now, the pressure stays constantly over 60# now, no matter how many faucets are open in the house at the same time. Thanks to HayZee for suggesting I try that...worked great.

It seems to me the filter is getting clogged so the resistance drops your house water pressure. You need to clean the filter more often.
