does anyone know if a rebath tub liner can be repaired?
we had the bathroom remodeled and a worker dropped a tool near the drain
and it put a large dent near the drain. i thought i could either try to put a new drain with a larger covering (if they make such a drain cover)
over the dent. i am afraid water could get under the dent and cause problems. could i use mighty putty to fill in the dent since it is supposely water proof and could stop leaks. this tub liner was brand new and we have never used the tub since the liner was installed.

I would think the worker would be liable for the damage and consequently his company would be responsible for replacing the liner with them absorbing the whole cost of the refurbishment. what it boils down to is that because of his mistake you'd have a less than perfect product and making fixes won't ever be as good as the finished product.

Can you post a picture of the dent, they do make a oversized drain spud and I know someone who works for a re-bath company and I can show him the picture. Previous post is right they are liable for the damage they did
      Good luck
