PVC repair in lawn sprinkling system

I must replace a section of PVC pipe in my lawn sprinkling system. I have purchased the necessary repair parts but I need to know the correct way to procede with the repairs.

Depending on the repair materials you bought, there is most likely a cement similiar to any other PVC type which you would simply cut and glue in the repair. Otherwise you could buzz a landscaper and ask.
