    Poor Flushing Toliet

I live in an apt in NYC and I'm having a problem flushing my toliet. It started not too long ago where it would flush properly every other flush and now I have to dump water to get a flush. The toliet doesn't have a tank just a pipe that goes into the wall. Any suggestions on what may be causing this or how I could fix it?

I would consult the building management. Inside the wall there is a flushometer that either they will fix for you or, they will have to provide access for your plumber. In any case talk to them first.
I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
    Now I can Plumb!

Did you know some Redwood Pipe is still in service today.

You might also want to check the small holes under the rim of your toilet, they provide much of the water flow that causes flushing to occur.
