  • Wet drywall opposite tile shower

I have a rental unit that has wet drywall as high as three feet opposite a tiled shower. I looked at the shower and it has cracked grout lines in the corners and in a few other spots. Since this is a rental and it is currently rented, I don't really feel like ripping out the shower. I plan on putting a two piece fiberglass stall in later. For now, can't I just seal it with something as a temporary fix? If so, what is a good product? Thanks.

You need to identify where the moisture is coming from, you say the effected wall is opposite the shower, how is the water getting that far without causing damage between the tiled section and the effected wall?
