I am planning to install a new washer and dryer in a closet area of a condo. There is a seperate condo above. Can I tie the washing machine drain into the 2" drain of either the kitchen sink or bathroom sink or do I need to T into the main stack? They used ABS type piping to plumb the building. Thanks

Many codes specify the washer to be a dedicated 2" drain to a larger drain...
Even if not required that will yield fewer potential problems.I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
Now I can Plumb!
