I am working on a master bath DIY remodel and will be replacing a tub. Will take me a few days (or longer, LOL) I'm sure to get it out, build the new deck, install the new tub, etc. So I'll need to cap off the water lines for it. My father-in-law brought me over some Shark Bite end caps to use and said they are great for that kind of thing since you don't have to solder them. Just push them on and then you can take them off with a tool.
Has anyone used these? Are they ok to use/reliable? I tried one on a spare piece of pipe and they seem to hold pretty tight. I just am a little nervous about putting them on and then coming home to a flood.
Appreciate any comments!
