Pex Line or copper

Lets hear the pros and cons of each. I am thinking of converting over to pex from galvanized.

I don't know which is best. I use copper for hot water heating. I have seen
homes get down to 0 and below and the Pex did not break, you sure can't
do that with copper. later paul

Yep, I gotta say I'm a PEX man, All my work is PEX now. I do like copper but the advantages of PEX over copper make it my clear choice.
When PEX freezes it kinda swells up (like a snake that just ate) and as it thaws it just goes back to it's original shape.
PEX can run around corners in long sweeps this helps reduce drag on the water as well as ease of installation.
Continuous runs as long as the roll you buy, no more soldering on couplings to a 10' piece of copper.

The reasons are numerous for the advantages, you don't even need to buy the tools for crimping if you don't want to, "Gator Bites" or "Shark Bites" simply push on and lock on. (haven't seen one leak yet).
