Soft scrub, comet, abrasive pads don't work. Should I try an electric sander or is there a better way? It is a vinal type shower. Thank you.

Try Gelgloss, it comes in a little tin (pinkish in color), is a white liquid and is applied with a cloth then buffed off. I use this almost exclusively to rejuvenate old plastic shower stalls, works great.
It's available at most big grocery stores and Lowes and Home Depot, it's about $7Little about a lot and a lot about a little.
Every day is a learning day.
