I saw a lady painting a wall on t. v. with a garbage bag! After painting the wall she cut the bag open to where it was completely rectangle, then pressed it to the wet paint pinched different areas, wrinkled others, played around with the plastic bag on the wall, pulled it away, It was beautiful! What will people paint with next?[:X]

Thats why faux finishing has become so popular, you're only limited by your imagination and when you tire of the look, you simply paint over and start again. Fast, easy, cheap. Paint is your friend.
