Fill an unequal big hole in wall

Hi,
My nephews were playing with cricket ball and one of them zoomed and hit the partition wall and made a hole in it.
It looks like this....


Can you point me to a DIY for me to fill or I need to call someone to fill it?

Hole in Wall

Not sure how big that hole is. For small holes, nickel size and less, I wad up some fiberglass tape, stuff it in the hole so it lies below the surface, and then fill it with joint compound. For bigger holes, I use a procedure shown at Drywall Repair a Hole in Drywall - Instructions But in your photo, it almost appears to be a dent, not a hole. If it is a dent, fill with joint compound. The compound will shrink in, so you will have to coat again a few times.
