How do you seam Carpet together if using the commercial graade carpet.

If it is glue down carpet overlap the seam edge a couple inches and line up the pattern match, then using a straight edge as a cutting guide, cut through both layers at once. Remove the cut pieces and the edge will match perfectly on the cut. The key is both pieces have to be cut on the first pass to get a good seam line. Do not repeat a cut or the edges will not line up. Plan on changing blades often.
