  • Painting the Inside of a Garage

My husband and I have just finished sheetrocking the inside of our Garage. We now need to spackle the seams and then paint it.
I live in NJ, so the fall weather has arrived. The temp has been roughly the high 40's at night and the 60's during the day. Could you please tell me if it is too cold to spackle and then paint? I'm not sure what the temperature restrictions are for paint or spackle. Also, even though this is the inside of the garage there is no heat in it. Should I use interior or exterior paint? Thanks

When the temp is above 40 degrees go ahead and paint. Also the mud will harden when the temp is up. Worse case use a salamamder to get heat in the garage, provide some ventilation. Fumes off the salamander will kill you.
