    exposed brick walls

recently purchased a 107 year old row home in the northeast. I have chiseled some of the plaster off the wall to see the brillant exposed brick behind it. This is common in these older homes. How can I work the remainder of the plaster off faster? Rotary hammer? Air Chisel? Has anyone had experience with this task?

air chisel or a needle scaler would be faster.

Air chisels are quick BUT if your not really careful you could damage the brick, like Hayzee suggested I'd go with the needle scaler (sometimes called pin scaler)
