We have a condo in a 1947 building that doesn't have a bathroom vent fan. As a consequence, the paint on the ceiling is bubbling and the underlying plaster is loosening from excessive humidity.
I'd like to find a permanent solution and, when I have travelled abroad, I have seen bathroom ceilings covered in moisture-proof panels like these:
Spabord shower wall panels
They are made of UPVC and interlock to provide protection. I can't seem to find a distributor here in the U.S.
Does anyone know of a place here where something like this is available?
Short of that, is there a good domestic solution to this problem?
Thanks,
Mitch
