  • gloomy fireplace

Hi, my fireplace was originally built of some yellowish-brown brick. The color is very gloomy, especially the mirror next to it is the darker color mirror. So, I painted it with a light beige (or light yellow)color. Now, I think it looks kind of childish. I heard that there are some fake stone or fake brick which I can glue (?) on to it. Can someone give me advice. I will love to see genuine brick/stone appearance.

    Thanks,
    lcc

I'm not sure how this would work, but maybe someone else could offer advice.

I've seen tiles that are like slivers of red brick. When layed, they would look like brick, and feel like brick, but they're maybe 1/4" thick. That might be worth investigating?

    it never stops. ever.

Try Brick-Anew - it is a fireplace brick paint that updates your bick to a light colored realistic brick. It comes in an easy DIY Kit. Check them out at http://www.brick-anew.com.
