  • Wall patching after fitting recessed lights

We wish to fit some ceiling recessed lights in our new home. The electrical contractor said they will fix the light and do some light patching. The rest of the work has to be done by somebody else.
I'm wondering that how many hours of work it would be for that extra patching by a third person . The electrician will install 6 + 4 + 4 LED wafer lights in the living room and two bed rooms. The ceiling has a stucco finish.

    Thanks

    Hi August!

For patching the ceiling after installing recessed lights in a stucco finish, you can expect the job to take around 5 to 9 hours. This includes time for preparing the area, filling and texturing the holes, and allowing the patches to dry and blend with the existing ceiling. The exact time might vary a bit depending on how complex the texture is and the skill of the person doing the work. If the texture is intricate or there are complications, it could take a bit longer.
