Our door won't open. We don't know who the manufacturer of the door is. My husband was able to get the handle off but the locking mechanism is broken and we still can't get the door to open. The part of the lock that is left in the door is in the locked position and we aren't sure how to get the lock open. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Here are some pictures of the handle:

The little pin sticking out is the actuator for the lock, on the part still in the door, (from the inside) you should see where that pin slipped inside the lock mechanism. With a flat screw driver insert it in the hole and turn (usually anti clockwise) it should only be a 1/4 to 1/2 a turn.
