    Another vinyl siding question

    The house is cedar lap siding, except for the gables which appear to be masonite with 1x2 boards over the it. Picture: https://docs.zoho.com/file/cz73ja934...356db1c65e6df1

    How is that typically handled?

    Cut with an axe.

      the batten boards are removed and the foam insulation goes right on top of the masonite

          So just continue the vinyl siding on up to match the bottom section of wall?
