  • Aluminum Coil Wrap Caulking

I had my windows wrapped a few years ago. I have tried silicone (dirt sticks to it and gets dirty) latex (seems to not move as much and pulls apart) and urethane (cracks and yellows). What is the best white caulking for aluminum coil wraps or is there no one good answer?

It sounds like you’ve been through quite a few options with your aluminum coil wraps! For the best results, look for an exterior-grade acrylic-latex caulk that's designed for metal surfaces. These types generally offer good flexibility and should hold up well over time. Make sure to prep the surface thoroughly before applying the caulk, as this can make a big difference in how well it adheres and lasts. If dirt sticking is a concern, regular cleaning might help keep things looking fresh. Good luck with your project!
