We've had a stubborn leak for over a year now. We live in NV and noticed that when it rains, we get a small leak inside of our fireplace. Although it's not a big leak, it's getting worse as time goes on. There isn't any water on the ceiling or walls, so it's been hard to fix. We've had roofers come out numerous times and they've replaced a large section of the roof, caulked some cracks they found and replaced the flashing twice. We also had a chimney person come out and check that all parts were in place and he also did some caulking. With all of this done, we still have the leak. We've come to the conclusion that the leak must be coming from a crack in either the chimney or wall. (We have stucco - home is 14 years old) We just want this leak fixed. What type of contractor can assist us with this problem? We don't know what we're doing and don't want to attempt to fix this ourselves. (Especially since the leak could be pretty high up. (2 story home) Can anyone suggest what type of contractor could possibly help find and fix this leak?
