    Replacing air vent in soffit

The air vents in the exterior soffit of my home are lightweight screen. I need to replace this but cannot find anything satisfactory or a local supplier, the soffit runs the length of the house front and back. I do not have an attic so it will be visible when replaced. I am hoping somewhere out there I can find perhaps a roll of flexible covering that can be stapled or tacked up without any problems. It must be at least 3 inches wide and about 5 yards in length. Any suggestions?

normal plastic soffit made for siding companies have perforations in a pattern in a center rib of the panel. You just cut to width and snap it into place between the fascia f strip and a corresponding f channel where the siding meets the bottom of the soffit. they snap or slide together.
