I buy most of my furniture from the Mill Store now. It's Made in the USA. You can paint or stain it yourself or the store will do it for you. I leave the wood natural and rub mineral oil in the wood every 3 months. It enhances the wood grain. I always look for pieces that show lots of knots. It gives the piece character.

Every year, when I can afford it, I buy one piece from a local craftsman.

Most of the furniture from brand name stores is coming in from China and emits toxic fumes. Buy American and save our jobs.
