Rotten wood and Gutter replacement - fair price?

Hey all,

I have a house with a leaky gutter, when I looked into getting it replaced, I was told that the wood was rotten and would have to be replaced. I was given an estimate of $2240 for the following:

-removing gutter (32 ft)
- removing rotten wood: 1x8x32 ft fascia, 32 ft dentil moulding, 1x16x32 ft plywood soffit
- replacing the wood, prime, seal, caulk, and paint
- installing seamless gutters

Does that seem like a fair price?

Is all the wood being replaced, like the dentil molding and if so how big is the Dentil ? Dentil can be very expensive.
$70/ foot does seem high.

It's kind of strange that the entire 32' needs replacing unless the gutter was leaking at several places.
