How long should a mason wait after tuck pointing before applying the masonry sealant?
Thanks!

At least 24 hrs. Portland cement and sand and limestone sets up within that period.

24 hours would be the bare minimum, 7 days (dry, without rain) would be a much better time frame.
Little about a lot and a lot about a little.
Every day is a learning day.

Thanks. They were going to apply the sealant immediately after touching up some spots they missed and then washing it, anxious to get the job done you know, but decided to wait until next week after all.
