Garage Door Motor won't stop running

My garage door motor will not stop running unless I unplug it. The door will not move up or down. It is a very old unit (Chamberlain Electrolift G 6446 model.)

Any ideas?

not trying to be short here, but if it is very old, update to todays safety features, and dont waste your time. Ryan
