I'm new here and looking for a little help with my Genie. Its many years old but has worked well. I have released the door from the screw drive and the door operates freely. With the door disconnected from the drive when I push the remote button the motor runs for a half second the stops and reverses and stops again. The screw drive does not turn at all. ie no rotation on screw drive or on the tail end either. I have not looked inside the unit yet just looking for ideas. TIA Peter
