How do I pair this with my car without a remote?

If you have HomeLink in your car you will need a remote to program it.
If you have Car2U in your car you will not need a remote to program it.

PS.
For the fixed codes it say to open the remote to see the code settings, the old Genie has the dip switch on the motor head where you can get the code settings.
