so then that tells me that it is about to go then i will need to start looking for a new one it is a pain to unplug it when i leave all day just to make it a little harder to get in and then plug it back in when i get back.

Not looking for parts just needed to find who made it. But are they set to open upon power restore after a power outage ?

Its an old Stanley model 2980 from 1988. This is a very old unit and does not have the current safety sensor eyes that are required. Your best bet is going to be to replace it with a new unit.
We do have a few parts laying around for them if you were looking for something in particular.
