Liftmaster garage Homelink opener range dropped when a webcam was put up

Does anyone have advice about how to increase the range of my Homelink car remote opener? It used to work from half way down the block. Then when we put in a Foscam IP video camera to monitor our dog run and now it won't open unless we are w/in 10 ft. Strangely the regular remote seems to work a little better (though only maybe 20 +/- feet). I REALLY do not want to get rid of the camera, but also don't want to spend a lot of money trying expensive fixes.

I could really use some advice!
