I'm converting a very old car port into a garage and the drive has a decided cross slope i.e. from side to side. There will be close to a 2" difference over the length of the door. Can I just add a wedge to the bottom of the door and add a new rubber seal? Does the brand/style of door make a difference? I've asked at a couple stores to see the actual door (not the box). I got a definite no! Or is there another way to handle the problem?

You can get doors custom built to suit what your are needing. Wayne Dalton are one that can do it.
Yes you can do as you suggested and add a rather large wedge to the bottom of the existing door, it would need to be made from a good hardwood and you will need to groove the bottom so as to attach the gasket.
Another option would be to go to a machine shop and ask them to make an aluminum wedge.
Little about a lot and a lot about a little.
Every day is a learning day.

      Oak would do it.

As luck would have it I happen to have a nice piece of oak which could be pressed into service. Thank you, this takes a load off my mind.
