This is my 1st post in this forum, so hope you can help. The end of one of my garage door springs broke yesterday, and it is color coded orange, which is I believe is rated for a 70lb door. I have two vynal doors, 7x9. The hardware store only had springs white coded which I think are rated for a 110 lb door. Would those springs be to much for my doors? I hope I've given you enough info.Thanks Keith

It is important that you use the same size spring as what was their. hardware stores carry only a limited variety, so i recomment going to a dealer for some springs, they should have the correct size and it shouldn't cost any more for the springs. perhaps $15 tops each.
