Attack of the Morning Glory...

Does anyone know of a sure-fire way to get rid of Morning Glory vines? They are taking over, even in the most un-seemly places! I tried Roundup but they have friends...a lot of friends...

IF you find a successful way to deal with them I am sure there are a lot of farmers here in W.Pa and E. Ohio that would be interested in learning your secrete, they make a real mess of a tilled field.
