Help! I have been a fairly decent home repairer. After completing use of me Echo Blower, I store it and when I return the next day its hard to start, the air filter is soaked with gasoline. If I remove the air filter and unscrew the gas cap, its starts fine. I found that if I store it with gas cap loose and restart later before tightening the gas cap all is well. Installed new fuel filter, no help.

    Any ideas?

check the vent hole on the gas cap. when you run the machine it sucks gas into the carb. when you shut it down it creates a suction throughout and gas goes into the carb and then the filter.

Thanks for the advice. I looked at the gas cap closely and could not see any thing obvious. Purchased new cap and so far appears to be working fine.
That is a new one on me. Thanks for your help.
