  • Bottomless Bottle

    Hey everyone...
I had a question. I wanted to grow some plants indoors (ie roses and vegetables). What I came across was if i were to cut off the base of a 2 liter soda bottle and remove the label. Cover the plant or cutting it would create a pseudo green house enviornment..... I tried it and im not too sure if i should leave the top on the bottle or leave it completely closed. I took some rose stem cuttings and some are sprouting but the bottle keeps fogging up... I wonder if its a good idea or not ...to bottle or not? hmmm

    Thanks

I would put the cap on but not screw it on and remove it every once in a while. The bottle gets foggy because the humidity gets really high in there. Basically this acts as a tiny greenhouse and you need some air circulation or it will get way to hot under there and burn your plant.

Its better to put the cap on it instead of going to screw it.
