    John Deer L110 throttle problem

    Hi Everyone,
I have a John deer L110. The mower starts fine (choke works etc) but once it is started the throttle lever has no affect when throttling down. Seems I can go up ( there is a recommended setting kind in the middle that is where it normally sits) but pulling the throttle down makes no difference. I can see the cables moving in and out and can manually throttle it down at the carburetor.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks

check the clamp screw that holds the cable to the throttle body. when you back down, the cable's sheath slides.
