A neighbor just showed me his new Trex deck. After our first rains he started noticing black spots which appear to be mold. The Trex material seems to have a slightely porous surface. Has anyone else had a similar issue with this product?
I have not seen or heard of this before, but I do know that mold does not like bleech! ...maybe you could scrub your decking with a deck brush and a bleech solution to solve this problem. Good luck.
