Time once again to get some expert opinions...
My house is 30 years old and I'd like to put down a protective surface on the garage floor. (It has dealt with 30 years of northern Illinois winters.) I've been told that the Pratt & Lambert Palgard epoxy is good stuff. It sounds like a step-by-step process, made even slightly more difficult by moving things to one side, allowing for dry time, maybe a second coat, drying long enough to move the workbench back on it, etc., then doing the other side. (Two car garage, about 480 sq. ft.)
However, last year I rolled on some clear concrete sealer before winter and I've been told that for the P&L to adhere, I should use some Miuriatic acid to etch the surface.
Any tips on this project? Especially concerning the muriatic acid? Is the P&L good stuff? Thanks all.
