Propane pressure...

What's the pressure in a propane bottle? The kind for a hand held torch? and the BBQ grille type? Is there a special hose needed to extend from the tank to a small heater? The regulator is at the heater.

at about 80F there is around 125psi at 100F that climbs to about 175psi just to give you a reference.

you should be able to get the correct hose at your local ace or home depot.
there are a few different fittings on the end of the hoses so you may have to pay attention to that when purchasing

ambient temperature has a direct relationship to internal tank pressure.
no propane tank is ever filled greater than 80% to allow for expansion.
