where to buy colored plexiglas?

does anyone know where i can buy colored plexiglas or a similar material? i want to create the look of stained glass, but with a plastic product for cost and durability. I have seen old doors with great colored transparent plastic windows (usually orange or green, from the 1950s-60s), but I can't find any place with this material for sale. This place http://www.krinklglas.com has great faux stained glass, but it is very expensive ($16 per sq ft!)

Check you local phone book for commercial glass and mirror companies.

Most commercial glass companies can get glass, plexiglass and acrylics in colors.

Do not expect to save money by electing to use plexiglass. In most cases plexiglass costs more than real glass.

I found a source on eBay. I too wanted translucent plexi (white) a 4 X 3 sheet. EBay had it.
