Does anyone out there have a learned opinion regarding finishing the basement with vapor barrier on the concrete floor with treated lumber sleepers and a plywood sub versus 1" rigid styrofoam panels laid directly upon the concrete, taped together then a plywood sub-floor screwed down with cement screws. I just recently read of the latter and have mixed feelings considering the foam might crush in areas causing the floor to eventually squeak, etc...
