I have a mobile home in a park that might need to be moved. I will hire professional movers for this, but am wondering about any disconnect fees. Who's responsibilty is that? Water, sewer, electric and phone. How does something like this work? (Michigan).

Well, around me here in NC the mobile home companies disconnect all that stuff ( even the electrical which they shouldn't touch, but this is NC) The city/county inspection departments say that electrical and plumbing and gas should only be touched by licensed people , electricians, plumber etc...
To get crystal clear clarification for your area give your local building department a quick call, I would think that the mobile home moving company should be able to tell you that as well.
Post back if you find out, I'm always interested about the differences in what's allowed or accepted and whats not from state to state. Little about a lot and a lot about a little. Little about a lot and a lot about a little.
Every day is a learning day.

This is how it is done around here. The transport/setup crews set the trailer...THAT'S IT. And that's how it should be.Originally posted by pushkins View PostThe city/county inspection departments say that electrical and plumbing and gas should only be touched by licensed people , electricians, plumber etc...
